• Monitor and adjust chillers, units and V.A.V. boxes via computer from a central control room.
• Received extra air conditioning requests, programmed them into the building automation system and directed billing to the appropriate department.
• Supervised and scheduled staff with Chief and Assistant Chief Engineers.

•Facility systems include steam boilers, hot water boilers, heat pumps, exhaust fans, transfer fans, cooling tower, pool, spa, elevators, full service laundry, emergency generator, sprinklers, standpipes, fire pumps, domestic water booster pumps, sump pumps, gas pump, steam generators, saunas, Metasys building automation system, Pyrotronics fire command station/system, L.C.&D. automated lighting system, over three hundred pieces of cardiovascular/fitness equipment and a Nortel phone system.
• Apply for, renew and maintain Fire Department and Department of Health permits as well as appear for any city agency hearings necessary.
• Oversee outside Security Company, Cleaning Company, Telecommunications Company and other outside contractors/vendors.
• Put together and execute the capital budget for the facilities, including providing scopes, bidding, planning and project management.
• Responsible for entire R&M budget, utility budget and departmental payroll budget.
• Report directly to the General Manager of the facility regarding all matters.
• Member of the marketing and promotions committee and head of the energy conservation and recycling committee.
